Encouraging Bible Verses To Overcome Fear and Anxiety.


Fear is everywhere. On the surface, there is enough reasons in this world to be afraid. Especially when faced with circumstances beyond our control. We can find comfort and peace in knowing that God is never surprised by our circumstances, He is always in control. We can relax and trust Him and His promises towards us and our situation.

Here are some of His several promises to remind us of His promise to never abandon us in any situation. All we need to do is pray, call on Him for help and remind Him of His word.

Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I will say, rejoice.

Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth!”

Psalm 34:17 When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.

Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.

Psalm 100:4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!
